Im sure this question has been asked before but bare with me, im currently in Iraq where the internet is painfully slow. Searching the threads is almost impossible with this connection speed. Since I will be coming home in the next few months, im trying to figure out the best combo to build on a stock 91lx with 80,xxx miles, keep in mind I will be supercharging it too. If anyone can offer any suggestions for best h/c/i for a stock block that works great with a s/c, it would be much appreciated. I will be doing most of the work myself, and would like to keep the build around 4,000 for the motor. Any input would be great.

The cheapest way would be to buy a kit from either Holly or Trick Flow ($2000.00) That would be Heads, Cam and Intake for roughly 300HP. Might was well rebuild your motor while you're doing the work ($500.00) and then throw on your supercharger ($1500.00)

That would put you near the limit of the stock block (450 / 500 HP)

If I were going to do it all over again, I'd probably go with a set of Trick Flow Track Heat heads, Trick Flow stg 1 cam, and a good intake, maybe a Cobra or TFS. Don't forget to factor in the cost of other parts such as roller rockers, new pushrods, timing chain, gaskets, head bolts, throttle body, mass air meter , injectors, fuel pump, headers, etc.
