I messed up the cut on my hood blanket (well thats what I've been using in the search engines) and need to purchase a new one to cut for my 03 GT. Ford wants 300 bucks for it, any one know what the proper term would be or a store that sells and ships them? Thanks

Why even replace it? I have a Cobra R hood without the blanket. It's been on for about 2 years and no problems yet.

Proper term is under hood insulator.

Well when you cut the hood it looks kinda crappy w/out the blanket For some reason you have to cut outside the size of the shaker box so theres two "wings" that are left on the underside. And thanks for the proper termage AND the link, its a bit pricey still but at least the dealership isnt getting my money
