I remember seeing this on one of those Shows on spike TV.
It's sort of like dynamat except it was a shiny silver. You apply it like tape under your carpet to the metal boards and it insulates against sound and rattles.
i want to buy some of this so i can lay it all over the place the next time i pull my carpet and interior trim panels. I don't care about adding 20 pounds if it will help get rid of typical squeals, rattles and bumps associated with a 20 year old car.

yes, i was young and stupid. it didn't really help either. and it's VERY heavy. i only lined my trunk and i'd bet i put well over 50 lbs of that stuff in there. not worth it imho. and even though it was cheaper than dynamat, it still cost me nearly $200 for just the trunk....
