On my long to-do list for my '70 convertible, I plan on swapping from the C4 to a T5. I've been debating whether to buy new or search for a used T5 and rebuild it to handle some decent power.
Anway, the reason for this post is that I found a T5 locally for a good price, however it is out of a late 80's Fox body with a 4 cylinder.
Does the engine size of the source car (5.0 or 4 cylinder) matter? Putting it another way, did Ford use the same T5 in the 4 cylinder and 5.0 Mustangs?
I'll be hooking this up to either a 302 or 351W in my car (haven't decided yet).
Thanks!
