hOLY cR@P...THATS ALOT OF $$$

Thanks for the info tho, its' good to have options. Imma clean out the "pick a part" lot, then price out a generic 18x5 or 17x6 wheel from Pep Boys or alike.....see whats out there, ya know.

Will it fit into the FOX rear trunk well? Whatever tire I go with, I think its' gonna have to be at least 17" diameter cause of the increased brake package?

Yes, they fit.

I believe early Sn95's came with 15" spares, while 99-04's had 16" spares I think. All 94-04 Cobras, Mach's and bullitts used a 17" spare.

You need a 17" rim to clear the front cobra brakes, and a 16" rim to clear the rears. What you go with depends on your tire setup, and how much work you want to do. If all 4 of your wheels are the same, you could get a 16" spare to swap to the rear, and then put the good tire up front if you had a flat up front. A lot of work to do though.

I run a 17" spare from a 03/04 Cobra. I think I paid $80 on ebay for it.

My son's 93 vert has a 5 lug swap. We snagged a doughnut spare from a new edge mustang at the junkyard for $25. Fits in the foxbody spare well.

For $100 I'd buy it.

On Ebay they are in the $130-180 range with shipping. I think I found one where the guy had a "make offer" deal on it and I made a low offer and he took it. Prob sick of it sitting around.

Cheapest I see on Ebay right now is $110 + $32 shipping to my address

One other thing to keep in mind. Lug nut wrench. I still have mine in my car from the original 4-lug days. Unfortunately those lugs are long gone. I bought some new Chrome acorns that were 19mm, so I needed a new wrench. Good think I realized this before needing to take a wheel off somewhere.

I really shouldn't bother though because I have AAA, and 60 miles of free towing through Haggerty.

I used a 98 Cobra Spare in my car but always wondered if one of the New Edge Cars would work, glad to hear they will.
