spark advance on diablo sport

last night i decided to advance the spark with my diablo sport tuner and make a pass on the drag strip i noticed that the car idled rougher after i advanced the spark it did seem more powerful though is the rough idle normal? i took it back down and it idles fine now minus some shake from the cams

Weird. I'd test that out again. The Predator only adjusts WOT timing. It shouldn't affect idle.

You may have just experienced the car readjusting with the idle since you just flashed it. Mine will idle a little off for a day or so after I flash it. As said before, though, the timing adjustment is only at WOT. Esp since you have cams you may notice more.

yea i guess thats right the computer just may need to get used to it after being reflashed i noticed that by adjusting the WOT spark the spark will be higher at idle on the data log mine read like 20deg at 6% advance at idle maybe ive just misread it but i thougth it adjusted it all over by adjust it at WOT

id do a before/after test w/ the spark but im to lazy to wait for it to reflash the ecu twice then go in and datalog each one...
