Spark Plug and wire question, please help

Well, i am going to change my plugs and wires tommorrow and have a couple of questions.

The guy at Napa told me to gap them at .054, so I did, that sound right?

I have brand new Ford Racing 9mm wires that have numbers on each indivivual one (1-8), does anybody know of a site with a diagram or have there manual and can tell me where the numbers go?

If you are FACING the motor from the front bumper where do the wires go?
The + signs represent plugs

1+ +5 4+ +8
2+ +6 3+ +7
3+ +7 2+ +6
4+ +8 ????? 1+ +5 ??????

Does anybody have these universal Ford Racing wires? Do you just split the ends and fold them over the metal clip then crimp it and put the boot over it?

Also, where in the world is the pcv valve?, i bought one to replace and can't find the damn thing! ha, thanks!

Facing the motor cylinders 1-4 are on the passenger side and 5-8 well you know. The 1 cylinder is the closest to you (near the alt) and the # 5 is the one closest to the power steering pump.

The pvc valve is located on the lower intake manifold in the back near the fire wall.

Why did you get the universal set, should have just got the custom 5.0L set. I just replaced mine and they finally came with a coil wire that works on our cars!!

The fms wires are for both a 302 and 351 they don't make one just for the 5.0 like MSD does. That's why you can jump rope with the fms wires.

HAHAHA that whole "jump rope" thing was hilarious.

I would have bought the custom fit set, but the guy that i bought the car from already had them and he gave them to me.
