spark plug gap (having a brain fart)

i lost my chiltons and cant remember what our gap is supposed to be. I thought it was 55* but i cant remember for sure. is that right.

damn! I set mine at .045 is that too low do u think? Car didnt seem to run any better after I chaged my old ****ty mixed plugs out (which were at .060!!! when removed)

Regap your plugs to expose more of the spark.

Don't I remember seeing the spark plug gap on a sticker under the hood 'cause it is part of the efficiency for emissions thing?

I've never seen that, but most of my stickers are all worn off now.
