I'm converting an early 302 (with 351w cam) to fox style EFI. What should I gap my spark plugs at? I was using 0.038 with an MSD ready-to-run distributor while the engine was carbed, I believe I will have to open the gaps up now? If so what is the stock spec of say an 87-93 Mustang?

Thanks!

Sunil is right - 0.052-0.056" is the aero fox gap (for most of them atleast - I've seen guys post different specs for later foxes).

I also run 'em tight - at about 0.045". No need to do it - it's a personal decision.

I recently set mine up with a .060 gap, and the car seems to like it. The idle is a bit smoother and throttle response seems a bit snappier....although that might just be the new plugs themselves...
