nobody seems to like bosch plugs why? i had some AC delcos that the previous owner put in and i snapped one while removing headers. so i bought 8 bosch platnium don't see much of a immediate difference. whats the deal?

i dont think that it is that people dont like a particular brand vs them not liking the metal in the plug.

some folks report lowered idle and higher rpm cut out with plats. some notice nothing. i think it is something to keep in mind - if you try them and the car acts funny, remember you used them and that they could be, at least in part, responsible for the funkiness. :)

good luck.

With plugs high dallar does not mean high performance.

Platnum is only good for one thing and that is to extend the life. That is why cars running them have the 100K tune up intervals, otherwise they suck. And the +2's and +4 crap is complete bs. The spark is only going to go to one electrode, 4 electrodes will not equal 4 sparks. In fact they actually shrowd the spark. The best conductor of electricity is what you want to use, and for a spark plug that is copper, and that is what the standard plugs use, and they work the best. Autolite 25's are probally the most popular, 24's for blown or spraying apps. Standard Ford Motorcrafts work great too.
