Most important thing is to make sure you gap them....

1) Copper Sparkplugs are the best the burn hotter, you just change them more.
2) Platinum provide more HP and the +2 or +4s provide a more open flame.
Has anyone actually compared the two?

Although you're not going to see a major difference unless you use them with a good ignition system, but by them selves they're still better than stock.
worked v6 said:When you see the Nascar, Formula 1, Rolex Sportscar Series, and even just the regular road racing cars that have almost no modds, do you honestly think there running just plain and simple plugs? I don't think so. Now yes, I know they are substantially more powerful than our cars and they all use hard core ignition/fuel systems and about 90% of them are full bread racecars but still, like I said even the stock roadracers use somthing better, 'cause better than stock is still better than stock and when it comes to the life/performance of my car, i'm not going to just settle for the bottom of the barrel crap. I mean, i'll save up for a week or month or however long to make sure that i've got either the best product or something very close to the top of the list 'cuase I don't want anything crapping out on me. But, that's just me.

As far as aftermarket ignition systems go. MANY manufactures recommend NOT using Platinum plugs as opposed to standard OE plugs. As well NOT using on NOS systems as well
BTW highly doubt an OE plug being bottom of the barrel because of the cost(money does not always equate to better). But to each his/her own your dollar...you earned it....you spend it....Holla
