well i have a 90 GT and am having issues getting the clutch disc to slide onto the input shaft. Either trying to install it or just test fitting the plate onto the splines, while the tranny is on the floor is this common?
Haven't talked to spec because they are closed till the 11th of July, nice holiday.
Its advertised to fit a 1 1/6th inch input shaft off a t-5 and rated to 620 ft # or tq
Don't want to but is there a way to modify it, safely, that it will do its job and be reliable. Returning it isn't possible, box is long gone and way past the 30 day thing.
The clutch disc hub is too small, wont go over the straight input spline on the tranny and there is no wear on the input spline because it is new.
Any input?
