I am going to buy these if they are what i think they are. I have a couple of questions. Are they the same as the Cobra brakes? The rotors are bigger right? Also i have American Racing Rebel 17"x9" wheels was wondering if there will be any fitment issues. Would hate to buy the upgrade then not be able to use them.
Here is what i am getting.....

i believe they are indeed the same as the 99-01 Cobra's, just styled different. they'll fit the rims just fine.

Mine are installed, but my car is still in the shop getting other stuff done. Cant wait to try em out. I'll post pics later this week. MM Stainless Lines (80), Bullitt calipers+pads (230 ish), Slot/Drill/Zinc Rotors (100 for 2). Total was about 400. Not bad - my stock brakes were shot.

yes they should fit... they are the same as the 99-04 cobra brakes.

Mach1, Bullitt, Black Cobra and Red Cobra calipers are all the same, only diffrence is the banjo bolt and the way they paint them haha... i got the cobra brakes because i wanted to be a ricer and have the word cobra on there stand out so people would realize they werent stock.

Its a nice upgrade, braking and looks wise.

Anyone know the paint code for those brakes? I have some chips in my rears i'd like to touch up.

Only difference is that Mach 1 and 03-04 Cobra calipers have 40mm pistons, and are physically slightly larger. The pre 03 calipers are 38mm and slimmer.

Does the kit from that website come with ford pads as well or are they another brand and are the rotors decent quality? I honestly havent had good luck with brake parts ive bought from local parts stores (rotors warp and pads wear quickly/fail). If they are ford or other high quality parts i may buy the upgrade instead of just replacing them.

If I had to do it again, I would've bought the Cobra R setup.

yea.. I agree.. I have the same bullit kit with the stainless steel lines and its better than stock... braking is a bit better and they don't fade like the stock brakes when in the hills.. so for the most part if ur just doing drag racing they are nice but for road racing or spirited hills driving.. I wouldn't recommend them... I am prolly going to go with 1200 dollar brembo 4 piston kit...
the braided lines give great pedal feel though and I recomend them very much!
