Long story short,Ford doesnt know how to correct my speedo for 4.10's.

So we worked it out for them just to buy a DM speedcal ( well hopefully..not gonna get to detailed on it),but the Ratio chart they provide for the settings only list up to 3.27's gears as stock, well mine were 3.55's.Will the DM SpeedCal work and if so how would I know what settings to use.

I have emailed Dallas Mustangs but just wondered from anyone here that has had this issue.

Here's the link to the ratio table

I think the speedcal that I received came with instructions in the box on a sheet of paper that gave more dip switch setting based on other gear ratios, but can't find it now or I would scan it for you. Sorry, I don't have it but maybe someone has seen or has this can post it up?

Thx.
After some looking alot more on the netIve seen some Mach owners saying they had to contact DM for the dip settings.
Hopefully thats all it is since me and Ford(tech to be exact) are not getting along well over this issue.
He kept calling bs on me about these tranny's not having a speed sensor...he said speedo was based off the wheel sensors...until I showed him the dam service manual section that I printed out showing it had one.....

Beware of the charts. I just did 3.73's and set it by the chart to 0010010010... I was doing 140 MPH by the speedo and only in 3nd gear doing 30 in actuality. I lucked out and found install directions that had the 3.27 to 3.73 gear swap showing 1001001000. I switched it out and it's within 1 MPH of my GPS.

Here's the calculator I just found... It is accurate for mine from the 3.27 to 3.73 with stock tires.

Thats just Ford Racing's version of the DM Speed-Cal that you can get from a Ford Racing Dealership,Except I believe the dealer one already has a connector on it unless they changed them.

As for my issue, its not corrected yet, buts thats only cause im waiting for the part to come in,they ordered me the DM Speed-Cal from AM...no charge to me at all...
They gave me a choice of the FR or Dm one,I chose the DM(just in case I need tech help) cause Im so tired of dealing with Ford over my car and their so called techs.
Here's a quote from the tech trying to find why my speedo was wrong...
"Well I drove it on the highway with the diagnostic tool connected and it said that while moving the rear tires were turning the same speed as the front.".:.....

Are you kidding me?Yall put the wrong dam gears in,He says"that wouldnt change the speedo only the wheel speed sensors would"

That's common knowledge. While moving your front and rear tires are going to move the same...unless your drive tires are spinning. The mechanics at walmart could have told you that.
