No offense, but why should the cop give you a break if you were becoming a cop? Hell my dad is retired NYPD and I got his badge (wallet) and PBA and rarely use it, its about professional courtesy. I'm not a cop, and neither are you... Sorry if I come as an a**hole, but it annoys me when people use their neighbor's uncle's cousin's best friend who was in the academy to get out of a ticket.
And you want to talk about bad cops? Come to Staten Island, they have NOTHING to do so every single little thing is a summonse no matter what. Everybody around here hates them. So, yea, I do feel your pain (getting pinned while not really hurting anyine).

I know no fewer than 4 people who have lost their licenses or gotten strict restrictions along with probation for 25+. What you have to understand is these are people under 30 and in atlanta there might as well not even be a speed limit because everyone does 85+ anyway.

My sister was doing 87 in a 45 (she was 16 when she got the ticket, that was her 2nd one the first was for running a stop sign) How she didnt get arrested that day and the car towed I dont know. Anyway our lawyer told her to take some class and that got the points reduced to were she didnt lose her lic some how. I forget what the fine was as I dont keep up with her bitch ass much. Btw this all happend in 2006

Some people are just lucky, others have **** luck.

I got a ticket for doing 78 in a 30 and that was after I slowed down when I saw the damn motorcycle cop come out from the bushes. $328 ticket... That was in my old V6 mustang. Since then I got a radar detector and keep it on all the time I know my foot is being attracted to the floor. Especially now with my GT. Oh and it just got thrown out because it was my first(and last) offence and I paid the court fees and lawyer fee's so no problem with my license and no points. That was 2 years ago.

I got a ticket a couple years ago that says "approx. 70-80 in a 40." This was in my V6. My detector never went off, because the cop wasn't using radar. He said he was sitting under a tree typing and heard me(I had MAC flowpaths). I was actually doing 60, being stupid and chasing green lights. The cop was cool though, and since he didn't have radar it was only an $80 ticket.
That was my last ticket, and I'm 2/5 (ticketed/pulled over).

I was also talked to by a motorcycle cop who said I was revving at him. He pulled up next to me at a light while I had my top down and was like, "you sure you want to toy with me?" I showed him I had an auto and told him I was trying to merge in front of a dickhole that was riding my blindspot while I had my blinker on. He was like, "Yea, whatever." That's why I think all motorcycle cops are tools.

i was doing 75 in a 30 in my truck, while racing my friend in his jeep pickup..i slid pretty much out of control, went down and alley and stopped, he had me but my friend got by me when i slid into the flea market..so he went home and i got only a tickt for having a passenger under 20 with my intermediate liscense, i think a 101.00 ticket and a lecture about street racing..
