Do i have to remove the entire dash again??? :bang: Also where is the best place to get new cables? Thanks for the help guys!

The whole dash should not have to come out, at leat it didn't on my 85. I'll save you some leg work on finding a cable. I looked everywhere for one and only found cheap knockoffs. CJ Pony was the only vendor that came up with a Ford cable. Perfect fit.

The dash does in fact have to come out (or at least down) on these cars -- so you did ok. :nice:

For a speedo cable -- I hit the junkyards looking. I've heard aftermarket cables (much like clutch cables) aren't very good. I found a nice Ford cable in another car and grabbed it. :nice:
