Speedo gear for T5Z and 3:27=21 Tooth???

Hey folks,

the chart from 50 resto breaks down T5s into 83-89 and 90-93. Do I use the 90-93 chart for a FMS T5Z? if so am I right that I need a 21 tooth for 3:27?

I beleive the t-5z uses a yellow 7-tooth drive gear like the 83-89 t-5's

Do you have the trans? Peek inside where the speedo gear goes. The drive gear will be color coded.

Black = 6 tooth
Yellow = 7 tooth
Green = 8 tooth

If it's yellow you need a 19 tooth with 3.27's, if it's green you need a 21 tooth
