I know there are a bunch of places I can get a speedo gear, does the name brand make any difference if any? Where do you guys get your speedo gear? Is it easy to change?
ok, i just picked up a speedo gear. Its been a while since I looked at the original speedo gear and was wondering do I need any special tool to pull of the old speedo gear?
No special tools required. Just a 7/16 socket (might be 3/8?) to take off the retaining clamp, then it slides right out. You will also need a small screwdriver to slide out the C ring that holds the gear to the cable. Piece of cake!
