when i bought my car last month, they guy said he took a dash out of an old 5.0 and put it in a autometer speedo (brand new) into it. i replaced my old dash (85mph, it was a 4-cyl) with that one and in both cases, the speedo didn't work at all. everything else does. i checked the cable and it seems to be fine. anyone got any ideas?
