speedo recalibrator

hey guys i am going to be buying 3.73 gears and i wanna know how accurate is a speedo recalibrator?. is the Install/correcting easy?? it's the only thing that is holding me back from getting gears.

You can get a speedcal from www.dallasmustang.com, there unit connect's between the computer and transmission, or you you can get one of those hand held programmers that will allow you to make the adjustment in the computer itself...

The Speedcal is dead on..I have had mine for over a year and everytime I drive by one of those little things that shows you how fast you are going its always dead on..install is pretty easy adn it allows you to make adjustments as your mod's change...can't go wrong

Im getting gears and a speed-cal installed today it will be ready on thursday. I bought the speed-cal from dallas mustang. I think it was $89 . Cant wait for those 4.10's!

Its an easy install. As for accuracy, after my buddy installed his, he followed me and I told him what my speedo read. He was of 2-3 miles per hour.
