We took a long road trip this weekend in the wife’s 2000 automatic gt with 75,000 miles on it. The speed limit was 70 most of the way so I had the cruise set between 75-80. I don’t drive her car a whole lot but I noticed that when I reached speeds over 75 the speedometer would fluctuate 3 or 4 mph. The car was not speeding up and slowing down just the needle on the speedo. All other gauges looked fine. At speeds under 75 the speedo was stable and didn’t fluctuate.
Anyone else notice this problem? My cobra doesn’t do this but its low mileage. Do these things have cables or is it all electronic these days?
