Okay, I've got the AOD in my 69 with the 306. I've also got 4.11 posi out back. How many tooth gear will i need? And where can I get it? Thanks guys!

www.cjponyparts.com has an interchange chart that can help you get the right speedo gear for your application. I would look it up for you but my catalog is at work, sorry.

The 23 tooth gear would be the one you want. It may not be 100% correct but will get you the closest. You can get one on eBay,Ford Parts Dept. or if your lucky you could pick one up at the junk yard.

TCI trans website has the 23 tooth. You can try WWW.brothersperformance.com too, I saw one in their catalog. I am in the same boat you are. Apparently the 23t doesn't mesh well (read doesn't last long) but is the best solution.
