speedometer gear

hello i have a 1970 mustang with a c4 ,3.89 gears 25.5 diameter tires ,can anyone tell me how many tooth gear i need,thankyou

Try a 21 or 20 tooth gear. I've got 4.10's, 26.5 tire and found a 23 tooth (Can't recall where from right now) and mines a hair off but way closer than it was

I know who has the gears

Try Modern Driveline, but don`t let them sell you a whole cable, the gear comes off reall easy. He should even be able to tell you how many teeth you need.
