Alright here's my dillemia. . . I just redid my trans on my 98 Cobra, buddy was driving it home cuz he was gonna get the exhaust welded back up the next morning, he said when he was leaving the exhaust shop, he noticed teh speedo work then stop then work then stop for good, it's been out since. . . no speedometer, and no odometer. . . . I bought a new speed sensor and put that in cuz he was sure thats what it was. . . well it chewed up the gear on the end of the speed sensor. . . . off the sensor there was like a little tube that had another end on it but we didnt know where it went. . .I checke with a dealer and they said oh thats because I have a 4.30 in the rear end, it was something to make it all accurate. . . .dealer said we didnt need that since i replaced the rear end to a stock one. . . so i bought the stock tooth gear that goes on the end of the sensor to. . . so okay heres my problem, i put the new gear in, checekd EVERY fuse in the car. . . still no luck. . . anybody have ANY ideas?
