I have used the same wax for the last 10 years and wouldn't try anything else. All the wax goes into the cloth when buffing off, no dust in the air. The name is "Beats Um All" I don't sell it, but maybe I should.

NICE!!! I doubt she ever has reason to be angered at that guy..he's perdy slick in my book, I'm sure she appreciates him. Actually my wife is FAR more tolerant than I deserve..I laugh at how uncomfortable both her and the dogs are in the garage...none of them will go within 5 feet of the car ...but when someone they don't know comes in....the dogs (not the wife so much) are VERY unhappy...they are more tolerant of people coming in the fron door...thez good dogs.

My wifey is mean and hurts Strype and takes out all of her female rage and aggression on Strype...
Okay I kidding but not really
I've found that if one lets a woman buy any kind of purse or "flip flops" she wants and keeps working on the Stang to a minimum of 16 hours a week she is more tolerant of said vehicle and husband

OK back to the topic. Which is good for a faded (some) black car with scratches??? I was told something like black wax??? Or will that t-wax work better. Had it buffed and IMO the dude made it look worse. Well he actually clayed it then buffed it. Dont think he knew how to use the buffer correctly. Now I have all these swirl marks everywhere. Dont have the $$$$ to paint it just yet.
The buffer can be dangerous for sure. I would clay the car, use a wax cleaner, use a swirl remover 2x, use a show car glaze, use a good wax and that's going to be about as good as it will get. I use foam pads to apply products and only would use a cotton or micro towel to remove product since I'm not comfortable with the aggresive nature of the buffer. If it's really imortant spend the day on it...the results will be worth it...I figure I spend 2-3 hours a month on the paint on both my 88 and wifes 04....worth it over the long haul for me.
