I ordered and installed Baer's front and rear disk brake upgrade for my '90 which came with Fox front spindles which are modified for 5-lug. As a result, we needed to use spacers on the fronts so that my Bullet wheels would fit. Since I'm not appy with this spacer situation, I want to upgrade to 94/95 spindles. To complete this upgrade, what other accessories or parts will I need? Thanks.

No takers? I figured this wan an easy one, 5-lug Fox spindles to 5-lug 94/spindles and associated parts.

The problem is the rotors. They are the 13" kit correct?

You'd need SN95 spindles and 13" Cobra rotors. The baer calipers are the same as the Cobra calipers so they should bolt right on assuming Baer didn't do something crazy and add a custom bracket.

Then sell the Fox-based spindles off and recoop some of your money

I have a 1992 with 94 spindles. I am however, using Stainless Steel brake system and needed a spacer for my Bullet wheels to clear the larger calipers.

The problem I now have is that the wheel is pushed out beyond the fender. Rolling the inside lip will not solve the problem. I bought used fenders to modify and see if I can't expand them, but the more time I test... and consider this option... the less reasonable it seems to be a solution.

I'm next going to see if the 95/96 spindles have a slightly different profile that will allow the wheel to fall under/within the fender. For some reason, I seem to recall someone saying that are more shallow than the 94's. Not Certain though.

I will be keeping an eye on your thread.

The 96+ spindles will exacerbate the problem, since they have a wider track width than the 94-95 spindles.

Yup !! I figured that out about 1-2 hours after my post.

So I spent the day on Saturday pounding metal with hammers and dollys to push out a flare and it came out tremendously well...will require very thin film of filler at best.

Thanks for the follow up

If your are running 17X8 Bullit wheels up front you can run 94-95 spindles or 96-04 spindles. The 96-04 spindles push the wheels out 13mm over stock fox. The 94-95 spindles push the wheels out 5mm over stock fox. 96-04 increase the track width 8mm over 94-95 spindles.

Either way, the front wheels will not stick out. But if you go 17X9 up front with 96-04 spindles, they will stick out.

You also need 94-04 ball joints in the lower control arms, of just buy spacers and place them on top of the ball joint after you set the spindle on it. These spacers place the crown nut upward so it is aligned with the cotter pin hole.
