i am running FRPP C springs and i got a set of tokico hp blues to go with them. i also have cc plates x2 balljoints and steeda bumpsteer. my question is, is there any better shock/strut to go with the rating of the springs. i know i will never be able to get it but to handle like my rx8 but i would like to improve it. th 8 i can go down the road to town at 94 the entire way, my car its pushing it to try 80. i'm looking for a more stiff tightness to the suspention. lol and by the way for all the die hard stang fans, sorry for having a ricer too.

Try looking around on the Maximum Motorsports website. They list the spring rates that the various types of Bilstein shocks they sell shoud be used with. There is a lot of good info on there. Do you know what the front and rear spring rates are for the FRPP C springs?

Also, a panhard bar and some chassis stiffening should help you get to where you want to be with your suspension.

I hope you weren't talking about your rx8...It's not a Z06, but definately not in the "ricer" category either...I wish it had more power, but still a nice car.

the fronts are 650 and the rears are 200/300. i was looking into the grip in a box package but then i would have to redo the entire setup. i know a friend that has coil overs and he has had them for 3 years and still hasnt finished tweaking them. lol he had it to corner really nice but the fron passenger side was higher than the rest of the car. oh and off the subject but thanks for the recomendation for the silverstars a while back kilgore. world of differance for the price.

and no i havn't upgraded sway bars yet. but i have noticed when going down the highway it seems to wonder just a little bit and i'm not turning the wheel. thats why i have started driving the RX8 more now, plus the nav. system i never get lost. still trying to hack the cdrom sofware to let you play dvds on it. the european model you can but the hand brake has to be up.

alignment issue
it should drive as straight as an arrow the toe sounds like its off.
that and tires is the tire pressure equalized on all of them?

i don't think its the alighnment, i had it done when i put all the stuff on by the guy that does performance alighnments for autocross cars. but that was while i was stationed in NJ but he might of missed something.

do you have steering wheel play?

if i'm not mistaken you can override the sensor that allows the handbrak to be 'noticed' when it's on, it keeps the sensor on then you can add a flip switch to turn off the brake light when you don't want it on

yes, it is very little. if you don't drive the car all the time you wouldn't notice it. before i got the tokicos there was really bad understeer and then whne it reacted from the body roll there was bad oversteer at highway speed.

thinking of getting something with really stiff valveing. maybe upgrade the body bracing later.

and as far as the dvd playing in my rx8 thats a software thing. they made the US model to where it won't play them. but like i mentioned the european model they will, but the handbrake had to be one or make it think it was one.
