I just ordered the Spintech Side Exhaust. Anyone else using the Spintech Side Exhaust? is it Loud? I hope so!

I will be using Hooker ceramic long tubes with off road h-pipe and the Spintech side exhaust.

Currently I have, FMS unequal length headers, off road h-pipe and 2 chamber flows with turndowns. My car sounds pretty good and it pretty loud.

I am hoping that my car stays the same or even louder with the Spintechs. Please respond if you have had any experience with Spintech.

If they are the side exhaust then they should sound louder when you are driving because you are closer to the tailpipes

the side exhaust run in front of the torque boxes so if your subframes don't hug the floor you could have a problem

I have BBk subframe connectors, they huge the car pretty good, they do not look much different then the Spintech sub frame connectors at the point wear the exhaust crosses the sub frames.

The only reason I haven't ordered it yet is because I know it won't go under my SFC's and leave me with any ground clearance. Mine hug the floor great, but the SpinTech SFC's are the only ones I've ever seen that are actually stepped in the appropriate place. Wish I'd seen that exhaust kit before I welded them in...

I just placed an order for the sub frame conectors. I will have to take off by BBK Sub frames and put on the spintech. I hope it worth the $$$. I have heard great things about Spintech side exhaust. I hope the sound is what I expect.

Holy crap i didnt notice you had longtubes too!!! Man your exhaust should be screaming loud w/ the spintechs... well if ya get the Pro Streets. And a side exhaust that will sound soo sweet and will be right by the window so you can hear it even better OMG that is insane. I think the spintech side exhaust kit looks like a quality product. I know my mufflers & flowtubes were nice.

And you had better make some soundclips of a video it will be great man.

p.s.- do you have a site or anything with some pics of your car, i really like the looks of it.

that side exhaust isn't that loud. it deff. won't be louder than what you have except maybe at wot. my buddy has spintech side exhaust on his 425 horse corbra with an o/r h and longtubes and it is loud at wot throttle (altough his blower is quite loud also), but at idle, i think my stock headers, bbk o/r h and 3 chamber flows with tails is louder.

What type of sound does the spintech give off with the H pipe? Deep sound or more of an indy type car sound?

I didn't think Jade's car was loud in his video except when he was getting on it. Maybe it's just the quality of the recording, but if it had been my car you would have heard it coming back long before you saw it. Just cruising up the road and into the driveway his sounded good, but not obnoxious, which is just what I like. Mine drives me nuts sometimes- it's a great sound, just way too F'n loud. Sounds like it's wide open nomatter what RPM it's at. I come around a corner and the cop is on the side of the road already looking to see wtf is coming, and probably has been listening and looking for over a minute. I'm too old for that $#!t. Jades sounds perfect. Mean at idle, just louder than stock when putting around, and full blown Indicar when he opens it up. I want it, just me...

Thanks!

I used to have spintech cat back with o/r x pipe on my 01 Gt and I WAS LOUD!!! It sounded mean as heck at WOT and idle very nicely, people always gave me thumbs up for my exhuest and said it sounded like a nascar. That was a 4.6 though, I would expect it to be louder with a 5.0 right???
