The stalker bumper has been around for a long time too, even the time before they made ricer kits for any car; but I think it looks best with the complete Cobra GFX package though.

El Stango started out as a production Mustang. I was trying to find pictures of this car for a thread a couple weeks ago. I remember seeing it in a hot rod or car craft back in the day. I remember reading that the owner bought it new and started the conversion with hardly any miles on it.
this thread is making realize the stalker is a lil too aggresive for the gt!( but im indecisive)
*cobra grille insert into stock gt front,
1)cobra rear bumper/spoiler
or
2)saleen wing with stock gt rear bumper
that way the 5.0 will look a little younge(add style) but yet at the same time keeps the natural lines of the car....
let me know your guys opinions, reply 1 or 2

My vote goes for the Cobra stuff. As i said before i think the Cobra is the best you can do as far as body kits, but the Saleen stuff is a close second for me. I can't stand the Saleen wing though, not on anything.
My copycat of the blue stang in the earlier pic. Loved the paint scheme when I saw it in the magazine and duplicated it best I could (for a street car)

Looks awesome, don't care for the lights though.
I'm undecided on the Stalker nose. I like it on my buddy's car, then on some cars it does look a little over the top. I'd probably go with the Saleen valance myself.

i always loved the saleen wings and had one back on my 90 that i did a saleen conversion .i now have all the pieces to do a cobra clone minus the cobra wing .when the cobras came out on 93 i loved them but wasn't high on the wing and now my taste has changed and i love the look.i think the blue car above would have looked better if he painted the wing the same color.

I think the saleen kits are the best looking followed by the cobra.. I would say if you have an lx do the saleen kit. I've had a saleen wing back in the day on my 90 lx and loved it but on my 88 lx I have a steeda wing and like that as well.. I will be adding a saleen kit to my 88 eventually which should look interesting.
I've said it before and i'll say it again I think the stalker front end is a little too aggressive for our body lines and i've seen tons of them in person and each time I want to really like it I just can't bring myself to it.. reminds me of those horrible black widow body kits and the like

I used to like the stalker, not so much anymore. The right wheels, tires, stance and such changes my mind on the body kit...

haha... you ran it at a Midnight Madness I think around May '07, and I think it was a Z06 if my memory is correct.
That's correct. I was told it had a catback and CAI. Since then I added a TFS R intake, 80mm TB and custom cam

We 79-86 guys have even a tougher time because of the molding situation and less aftermarket support.
I went with Wings West 93 cobra style side skirts and rear bumper valance.
