Sporadic surging idle WTF?.......

I went through the whole surging idle checklist over the weekend, and it got rid of the surging idle. But now the idle surges at no particular time for seemingly no particular reason. I am Thinking O2 sensors but am not sure. What could cause this?? Brand new 155 lph fuel pump and filter, by the way. Codes say I am running lean. Haven't dug into it too awful far yet. Thanks.

perhaps you need to set the fuel pressure a little higher?

or the IAC maybe sticking, or the tps may be on the frits, or you may have a wire eating through on the starter solonoid/battery- I've come across all of it.

I feel your pain. My problem went away for months, I noticed that one of the lines off the iac valve was cracked (hard plastic lines). Fixed those, and problem went away. Well guess what, as soon as it starts to warm up, randomly idles like ****, going up to 1500rpm's and hanging, and then gets all jerky after that. I am so tired of dealing with this, makes me want to drop a grenade in the engine compartment.
