Spring Round-Up-- Who's going?

Like I said, they'll have some for sale at the gates. Or go buy one a small one at Autozone. I'll look around for more small compact ones, and I'll let anyone borrow one who needs it.

While I think it's a BS ploy to sell fire extinguishers, I actually did see a classic Mach go up in flames about a decade ago waiting to get into the show. He had one of those BS glass fuel filters and it rattled on the intake manifold.

But I don't see how that would affect THEIR insurance....

Lame.

An insurance company might require that THEY have fire extinguishers on hand, but in all the cars?

I mean let's say a fire does break out. Since they require everyone to keep their doors closed, it will take forever for someone to actually get to their extinguisher ;)

Show begins at 9, I'm always there around 8:30 at the latest. I'd say get there before 10 to have a decent spot and be NEAR your correct class. The later you show up, the stupider of a location you get. Say, nowhere near your correct class.

This is not the first time I have heard of this. There a few shows I have been to here in Conn. that also require that an extinguisher be displayed along side you car. Not a bad idea anyway to carry a small one in your car. If you (hopefully) never need it for you own ride, you may be able to help save someone elses car someday.
