If the springs are changed in a mustang should the shocks be changed as well say for a 1 inch drop? Also, what brand would you recomend...Eibach, bullit, mach1.....something else?

Welcome to StangNet!
For a 1 inch drop, the Bullitt or Mach 1 setup is a great choice and awesome value at about $400 for shocks, struts and springs.

where is a good place to order this from? also, how much better is the mach one setup for the track? i know it will handle better, but does it launch better?

Thanks for the welcome. I seen a few posts on the bullit and mach 1 suspension kits. There was also talk about using the bullit springs and struts with the mach 1 sway bar, any comment on this? Ive seen the bullit kit for sale on v6mustangstuff.com for $400. Is there other places or do you buy the parts from the dealer?

so which suspension performs better at the track, bullit or mach?
When you say track, I trust you mean drag strip - if that's the case, you might want to consider Fox springs or all out drag springs. With the Fox springs, you want 4 cyl springs out front, and V8 springs in the rear. Minimal coil cutting will be necessary to get the ride height you want, but you get the best of both worlds here - you get rid of the 4X4 look, good weight transfer, plus it doesn't lighten the wallet to much...especially if you don't mind taking a trip to the junk yard. Add Strange 10 way adjustable shocks and struts ($350 for the whole set) and you've got yourself a pretty inexpensive setup that will look good and perform well.
Head over to www.modulardepot.com, sign up and browse the forums. Take a look at drag racing forum - do a search for 'fox springs'.
Also, I'd think about aftermarket contol arms, for starters....
Enjoy!!! :nice:
