Hey all,

I want to replace the coil springs in my 02 GT vert. What is the best option? I want to keep a good ride quality and drop about an inch.

I am considering the Eibach Pro-Kit, FRPP Bullitt, or Steeda Sport springs. Do any of you have a convertible with lowering springs? Please share your experience with me.

Really, I think that after 98k miles my factory springs ride like ass. So I would like to re-vitalize the suspension w/o slamming the thing to the ground and having it bounce around and ride like ass.

I really would like to just tighten her up a bit.

Thanks for the inputs. Any more ideas?

I installed eibach prolines for a coupe in mine. they have a slightly different spring rate(softer) than the ones for a conv. plus I wanted an extra 1/4" or so more drop than what the conv spring's spec's were. I like them and would not want to go lower, rub some speedbumps on trans crossmember now

Yea, take the isolators out. IMHO, NO KIT, none at all is low enough to make the SN95 look nice, unless it's sportlines w/o Isolators.

I've had the Eibach Pros on my 01 Vert for about 4 years and I have been very happy with them. In fact I recommend them. I got about a 1.5 inch drop and I think it looks great. The ride is fine...its definitely a stiffer ride and I would not want it ANY stiffer than it is. Looks really good.
