ok.. the install went down yesterday in about 5 and a half hours. first time i did this. it was easy and straight forward.. but i have a question on the lower coil placement. i put the new springs in just like the shop had my h&r ss's in there. i always noticed my the ss's were uneven in the back by just a tad. with that said.. i just followed direction on the sn install guide..which dosent say much about spring placement. when i was just now reading mw spring install guide, it says to place each spring on the rear facing the drivers side. what i did was face each lower coil towrd the car.. ( pointing "in" if you will).. so my passenger side of the car is right (facing the drivers side).. but is my lower coil on the drivers side backwad? i noticed last night after everything was done that the drivers side in the rear sat higher than the passenger side. would this be the prob. do i need to rotate that rear drivers side spring 180 degrees? i hope not, but from the looks of the way its sittin somethin is off by about quarter inch.

another problem with the sn install guide is that it says to disconnect the brake hose line bracket (fronts).. and i figured (i guess like everybody else) that that instuction is wrong, its the abs line bracket, so somebody might wana change that so ppl like me dont waste time.. at least it was only 10 min (bolt is near impossible to get to also) :nonono: ..till i was like why tf does this even need to come out? anyways.. all i really need is some input on the rear coil placement.. the fronts seem fine.

if memory serves correctly, the rear springs have notches in the lower control arm for the correct placement of the pig tail....there is only one way to install them so that the tail is flush on the control arm?!

idk.. my arms arnt stock.. but ill go find the stockers and see if there are notches on them. the control arms i have are tubular and smooth on top around the circular thing that the coil sits around. i couldve put the spring in any direction front and back. :nonono: i gotta get this right tho.. by tomorrow by the latest! :nonono: i did drive it tho..and it feels great.. nothing felt wierd..just need to get to the bottom of this problem. cause its off by about a quarter+ inch

damn... no help huh? its ok i got it figured out last night. im gonna wait for it to settle now and drive it a bit but from what i feel on a short 10 min ride.. all u guys with the supersports might wana get the pro-kit. :D no.. seriously.. it rides alot better.. but dont forget that the shop installed my ss wrong.. sooooo.. i will never know how they were supposed to be.. but im sure it wasnt far off

ya jack up the car, put some stands on the chasis. unbolt the rear shocks from the axle. lower the axle down and then the springs should be loose enough to rotate

yea.. thats the input i needed 3 days ago. somebody needs to get on that SN install guide and fix it up in a few places, cause of ppl like me who had a shop install their first set of springs and they did them wrong. then i had no idea, cause i put em in origionally like the shop did. uhhhh! im glad its over.. and im not sitting in my garage anymore till the next project

too harsh.. i loved the looks and the handling but it wasnt enough to outdo the everyday bad ride quality. dd like mine.. i couldnt put up with it anymore, it was like getting in a fight everytime i drove on the highway. :rlaugh: .. it really was a joke tho.. they had to go. for a weekend car- maybe i would keep them

im selling the springs to a guy local for 180. i dont think anybody would do better online cause of shipping it would be about the same as new.
