Squeak in front end after a break job

Was there any squeaking noise before you had the rotors turned? It sounds like a wheel bearing issue.Generally when wheel bearings are going bad,if they are making grinding or squeaking noises the noise tends to stop when the brakes are applied.The brake pads act as a load balancing device and holds the wheel/bearing firmly in place.Once released,the noise returns as the bearing is free to slide right out of place again.Now i'm not saying the wheel bearing is bad,just picking the possibilities. Did you replace the calipers or just put pads on?You could have a caliper that's sticking and dragging.Or you could have a squeal caused by using ceramic pads (if you used ceramic).Still,you shouldn't be hearing noises like this without touching the pedal.

If you machined the rotors, did you bed them to break in the pads? The bedding process consists of a number of firm stops from highway speed to slow speed to build heat in the rotors and break in the rotor and pad wear surfaces.

Thanks for the information and help with the problem. I slaped the old pads on to see if it would squeak and it didnt. I brought the others back and put some monroes on and so far no squeak.

May I ask what type of pads you returned and what brand name? Were they ceramic? Thanks
