Squeaking coming from front passenger side.

When i turn the wheel i get an annoying squeak.. sounds like METAL rubbing METAL. When i jack the car up on that side and turn the wheel than the noise is not there. When i drop the car back down the sound comes back. So, i sprayed the tire with the water hose and the nose stopped and came back when it dried. The sound is coming from the wheel area.


What can this be? It only happens when turning the steering wheel a inch each way than it stops. Also, now the noise happens when coming to complete stop.

try greasing the ball joints and tierods that would be a goo place to start!!!


i think thats a ford thing i had the same problem on my 99 stang and my 99 windstar
