Ok I did a clutch on my 00' GT and it had a gnarly squeak in neutral and even in gear sometimes. I had the car on the rack while it was running and the fork was going crazy up and down really fast. I dont know if its a throout bearing issue or a crappy clutch or both? Its a valeo unit from my work but it looked to me that the pressure plate wasnt straight... I bought a ford TOB but I dont want to install it unless I am sure this is going to fix it. I might try and warantee the clutch for a different one as well. Any other suggestions? Could it be that ball and socket pivot on the fork? If I put the fork in and move the fork up and down it looks like the ball and socket has some play but I dont know if that will cause this or not...

Factory Ford clutches say Valeo on them. I put that replacement in my T45 a month ago. A squeak is usually the t/o bearing. Did you smear some grease on the input shaft before sliding the t/o bearing over it? Did you inspect the pilot bearing? Mine had some needle bearings missing from it, I'm glad I caught that, so I could replace it. I don't think it will be the fork or pivot ball. How many miles are on the car? Mine were both in good shape on my 91 notch T5 that had 135K on it. Hope this helps.
