Squeaky Poly Busings.

Anyone else out there happen to have alot of poly suspension bushings? My car has all of them soo far except engine/tranny mounts and now that its getting colder when going over larger bumps they squeak alot. Really annoying. Anyone know something I could do that would last and not deteriorate the material? Its starting to piss me off.

Im in the same boat, the stuff I use is mobil one synthetic lube in the long cylinder cans (for grease guns). Its the pink stuff.

I put that stuff all over my bushings and it does a good job but I usually have to do it once a year. Rain, snow, salt, usually takes it toll and they start squeeking like crazy again.

lubing the bushings will help like stated above.

A friend of mine used to use a silicon based spray like wd-40 but not. As far as i know it worked great for him.

My buddy has poly bushings on his car and we grease them twice a year and he has no problems at all.

Alrite thanks guys sounds good, I was thinking of something like a spray but was worried about it eating them but I didnt think of a silicone type spray. Should work great thanks.
