Squeaky shifter

Hey dudes,

Ever since I put my B&M shifter in, I've got and almost constant squeaking coming from the console. I assume it's the shifter. It's driving me nuts. Seriously it sound like I've got Parakeets fighting in the dash. Anybody know how I can get rid of the squeak? Would Dynamatting the shifter area help?

Had the same issue with a Tri-Ax, an almost constant chirping squeak. I took the shift linkage loose underneath the car and lubed it with anti-seize. Quiet as a church-mouse now.

I'll have to see about giving that a shot. You wouldn't happen to have a pic of the area you lubed up would you?
