squeaky sway bar

Put a new 1 " sway bar and bushings on this spring. About a month ago started getting a terrible squeek from the front end. It's both the bushings where the rod connects to the frame. Has anyone had the same problem? I pulled em loose and sprayed em with silicon and that has fixed it , at least temporaily. Any permanent cures available? Used the ones that came with the kit and sure don't want anymore of them.

yeah, i put super grease on mine when i replaced the front sway bar. that should work.

I had the same problem, until I pulled the sway bar inner mounts off and took a dremel tool and carved a channel in the middle of the urethane mount the full inner circumference. Then drilled a hole through the metal cup of the mount the size needed to tap a grease zert into, now in the winter when things begin to make noise I just give a squirt of grease from the grease gun and front end stays quiet!
