I changed my brake pads the other day. which by the way i have done before and have had no problems. I changed to ceramic because of the dust problem with my other ones. My problem is, now the brake pedal is squishy and i have to push down farther and harder to stop, and i can get it almost to the floor if i push hard enough. I dont think it was like that before, do i need to bleed the brakes? all i did was compress the 2 pistons on the front calipers to change the pads, so i wouldn't think that could somehow get air in the lines.
can i get some advice on this please?

Bleeding couldn't hurt. I always take the top off the master cylinder when I compress the brake pistons to give the fuild somewhere to go. I'd def say bleed 'em. Take car.

same thing happened to me....bleed the brakes....didnt get much

Same thing happened to me. Take off one wheel at a time, compress the caliper in and then put the wheel back on. Then pump the brakes about 20 times until you feel the pressure come back. Then do the other side. The rotors are floating rotors that"s why you must put the wheel on before you pump the brakes.

Bleed em! Start at the furthest wheel from the master cylinder and move towards its. After all 4 are done you should be all set. DON'T let the reservoir go empty or you'll have to start all over

how many times should i have to press in the brake pedal for each corner?

Its better to have a two man team. Have one buddy at the brake pedal while you are by the bleeder valve. Have a wrench and clear hose on the valve and the hose going down into a can or small bucket. With the valve closed have your buddy pump the brake pedal 5-10 times. Then tell him to push the pedal to the floor. As he is pushing open the valve and let the brake fluid come out through the clear hose into the bucket. Do this about 2-3 times and watch in the clear hose for air bubbles. if no air bubbles them move to next tire. if air bubbles then keep pumping (valve closed) and down to the floor (valve open) until no air bubbles. Make sure that your reservoir does not go empy. might need a good amount of dot3.

Did you machine the rotors, or replace them? I have seen the concern you have berfore caused by fresh pads mating to glazed rotors. If the rotors were machined check the surface, if the surface is excesivley rough this can also cause a soft pedal.
