I think I'll stipple the grips tomorrow. Planing on taking the day off since my surround sound system is showing up via Fed Ex and I dont want it sitting out side all day w/ no one here.

You will be lucky if it shows up in a snow storm. I've been in that position before. Waited all day for my rims to show up. The website said they were out for delivery but they didn't show up. Then at 7pm it was rescheduled from Saturday to the following tuesday because home delivery doesn't deliver on Mondays

It left from PA yesterday so it was ahead of the storm. Got here today just after 10AM. Spent most of the day setting it up and messing around w/ it. My rear stands wont be here until tomorrow. This system sounds really good. its an LG 3D 1460W system. Fixing all the cables in the back this weekend they got all messed up from removing my old system.

yesterday I heard a woman tell her male coworker that the hotdog was too big for the bun..and it reminded her of a movie she had seen. I bit my tongue. They had a free lunch for some of the contractors that come in there. Good timing on my part. Two free hotdogs and a Pepsi. Yum

haha good deal.

A simple rotor replacement has turned into a nightmare. Bottom caliper bolt broke off b/c it was so stuck. Tried drilling the bolt and a tap to back it back out but this has to be the most stuck bolt in the history of stuck bolts. There is no way we were able to get it to budge one bit no matter what we tried. its stuck really bad inside the caliper and I'm going to have to have it towed somewhere and have it looked at

that sucks. I tried to get one of the caliper bolts off the 4runner but the socket cracked and rounded the head a little. After that I couldn't get it off so last weekend we took it to my friend's garage for him to fix it. Don't know how much it cost but it was worth it.

The problem is that I cant drive it anywhere, not to sure on how safe it is to drive it w/ one caliper bolt holding it on. Sucks to have to get it towed but its really my only option.

Nope had to end up buying a new caliper b/c of a stupid mistake on my part. We spent so much time working on it last weekend that by 6PM I was cold and tired and just wanted to finish so when we bolted the caliper back on I said screw putting the pads back in I just want to get the wheel on and get it back on the ground. When it was being loaded on the hauler on tuesday I hit the brake pedal and popped the pistons out of the caliper. So I needed a new caliper b/c everyone I talked to said they just dont go back in. Well a Brembo caliper is $$$$ , $800 expensive. I was able to find a used one off an 05 STI w/ 30k on it for $350. He sent it 2 day priority mail and it should have arrived at the shop where I have the car today but it never did, I'm more then pissed the expected delivery day was today and it was only coming from PA, 2 day priority should have been sufficient. It should be done tomorrow if not I'll be pissed. It will be a week w/ out my car as of tomorrow this is getting old.

Holy crap thats expensive. I would have just rebuilt the caliper or put everything back the way it should be. I had a piston pop out before.
