Larry dont stress over that, tell her to STFU, you cant get in trouble for something like that its beyond your control. You live on an Island and the ferry is not running for 2 days and she expects you to get to the mainland.......yeah how by building a raft.

Yeah, thats basically what I told her. Anyway, after 7-8 threatening and/or demanding calls yesterday(and with no reference to the plane, which didn't even cross my mind), she flys over here today and shows up at my aunts completely unannounced and says the plane wont wait forever, so get him ready. He breaks down, but cheers up a little when I tell him that he's got presents to open up there. Probably cost her over $100. Honestly, I'd of done the same thing, but I would've called to let me know.

Mike, we need to make it look like an accident, maybe a nice icy corner on a lonely stretch of road downeast.

So, back on the topic of a blower. let's say, hypothetically speaking, my credit card company was to run a promo offer of 3.99% for the life of the loan, and I was to say F it, I want a blower, what kind of guages would I need? I mean I would get a fuel pressure and a boost one, but mechanical or electric? Would I need anything else to hook them up besides a pod? Wires etc.?

boost gauge would be mechanical. Fuel pressure would be electrical and more expensive. My Lunar fuel pressure cost about $250 I think.

OK, thanks, looking at MU cat. and steeda cat. boost is defintely mech. but fuel can be either. In the steeda one they have complete autometer kits for a-pillar 2 1/16's for $295. Hmmm... I really like the looks of the center pod and the ford racing guages though. So I guess I would need some wiring, plastic tubing, fittings, and a fuel pressure sender if I went that way.

Must do more research.

the gauges are supposed to come with that stuff. Don't want a mechanical fuel pressure gauge! You wouldn't want fuel spraying all over you if something bad happened. There are rules against that stuff.

Yeah why get it, pay for it now if you are just gonna let it sit there and do nothing. Unless you are putting your meat in it and turning the screws. Masochist.

I'am not here to tell anyone what to do, but don't feel that you have to buy a SC. I Know I'am not one to talk, from all the money I have in my car. I just don't want anyone to go in debt or spend more than they can afford. Thats not the reason for the club. See what I'am saying........

I have to agree w/ chris on this one. Not saying you cant afford to get a SC but just dont feel like you need one. Rule #1 when modding a car is dont do it on a credit card. I spent alot on mine last yr but it was all paid for in Over Time money. Ive seen what happens when someone mods a car all on a Credit card. NOt saying you would do that at all but you just have to be careful. I do plan on putting few things on the credit card this winter/spring but no more then $500. I like to have everything paid for on my car up front so that my car modding dosent become an extra bill every month.
