Haha.

Ive thought about that. How does that work w/ doing a burn out though or do you just not do one. I figured w/ VHT on slicks it would not burn out to well.

hopefully on the test and tune days and Track rentals I do the prep will be pretty decent. Should be cutting sub 1.7's w/ the slicks.

I didn't realize we were arguing.
For the VHT you need to mount it in the back run it pressurize through some hard lines that spray through some nozzles that are mounted in the top of your wheel wells. That would be sweet. Spray when you want and need it. Spray as you drive from the waterbox to the starting line that way you coat the whole tire. Its an idea that could work and I bet someone has tried it.

I prefer the big bore kits. Better breathing in the 4.125" bore.

true but twice as much of a price tag to start out with and nothing shabby about a 408W .

You have the advantage of already being converted to a Windsor Block. That block is stronger than the 302 based block. The one I pointed out was a aftermarket block ,based on the 302, that can safely be bored out to 4.125 which unshrouds the valves for more airflow. Pretty sweet setup for a 8.2" deck height.
Plus I'm greedy and would want more HP potential from a 408 than that. A forged crank would be a nice step up. I'm sure you could go with lighter rods and pistons that could up you HP and RPM potential but all that stuff costs more money.

any engines I do down the road wont be based off the 302 block. I like the N/A route and the bigger the better.

Sounds pretty sweet. Start saving your pennies.

want a free calendar with a hot chick on the pages? I just signed up for one and it said it will arrive in 4-6 weeks. Hopefully they didn't run out. www.h-d.com/musclecalendar. The calendar is for the new for 2009 V Rod Muscle. I'd like to take both things in that calendar for a ride.

when you pay, you get the premium stuff!

Speaking of premium, N.H. still has 93 octane for sale while we have to make due with 91.
