What is DEQ? If that is sniffer test I passed in Washington. I had to retard the timing a little because of Hydro carbons and the #30's but nothing real major. I believe I pulled 14inHG at a 850 rpm idle. I am not sure what effect the blower had on vaccum.
I had bad cats but after passing I got rid of the cats all together. I would think if you set your timing at 10 initial it should pass alright. It will be a bit of a dog, but if its for a short period of time big deal.
