OK so I did the aod to t5 swap. I kept the original AOD computer as most people do. When driving the car once in a while the car stalls. It seems to be when I am at low speeds (like turning into a parking lot). Doesn't do it all the time but its driving me nuts. I dont know if its a issue with the computer or something like the VSS. Does anyone have any thoughts. Most places i read that people had to change the computer the cars stall all the time. This isnt the case for me.

Thanks for your input

Is your VSS fuctioning? How about the NSS (senor on the clutch and trans)? Both are designed to work together help prevent stalling at low speeds.

Do you have a quarter horse? I know some of the autos used data from the trans to control the decel and idle after coming to a stop. Now that you're t5 the ecu isn't getting the data it needs to do that correctly. I can't tell you what values you need to change but it sounds like that's your issue.
