I just found out I'm relocating to Montana this coming February. Anyone run an 05+ GT in Montana type winter weather? Just curious what to expect/what I'll need.
You can buy a cheap daily driver for what it'd cost for winter tires. But if you must drive the stang in the winter, you'll at least want some good snow tires (4, not just the rears. What good is traction if you can't steer?) and a few sandbags for the trunk.
Definitely get a dedicated set of winter tires on rims. Bags of sand are good too. Probably want to look into snow chains also. If at all possible, get a daily driver and keep the Stang at home when it's nasty.
