I was just giving my buddy a good ride to show him what it could do and suddenly I felt something really weird with the throttle. A huge loss of power also. I was feet away from an exit on the highway so I took it. Now that I was almost stopped, I saw that there was something really wrong. Started smoking and stuff..

I took the first street which was maybe 100feet away and I parked the car. There's no external leak anywhere. I start the car again and HUGE thick WHITE smoke is coming off the exhaust and car runs like crap obviously. I'm thinking it's the head gasket(s) but I'd like to have confirmation.

Is there any way I can find out without removing heads ? How about a compression test ?

That pisses me off since the stang is for sale. Now I'll have to open it up to fix it. There was no really interest anyway. I feel like just stripping it down and sell it stock. I'll propably get my money back more this way.

Any help guys would be really appreciated.

Thats exactly what mine did. White smoke, idled real bad. Antifreeze in the oil. and in the engine bay smelled funny... My problem was a blown head gasket.

Yeap , sounds like a head gasket . Remove the plugs and it should be wet on one or many of them and it should smell antifreeze .

This is what I did with my stang , stripped it down and sold it bone stock , I sold $8000.00 of parts from it.

This is so much easier to sell a stock car then a modded one...

I just got the sparkplugs out and all (8) of them are wet. This is the only damaged one and is for piston#8. WTF happened ? Is it melted or did it get hit ?

Both vc's are off and everything looks good from there but thats bs cause I found a big amount of oil in the upper intake with some pieces of what looks like a busted ring.

Many pieces that you found? or only one? if you still get the head on, do a comnpression test, put some oil on all the pistons that you think it could be broken, and redo a compression test, check if there is any difference, if not, it is a head gasket, if yes, rings..

Looks like you may have to take it apart....this is the pleasure of tuning and wrenching when it's what you want but if you're looking to get rid of it , this is a very bad timing...

The way the plug looks , it didn't melt , it got hit buy something .

To do that big of a damage to a plug it cannot really come from the intake side , it has to be from the bottom ....

Was it pingning before doing that ?

Yes I was trying to sell it but I had no luck. I guess this is even more bad luck now. But it's a good kick in the arse to make me change it back to stock. Thats what I'll be doing. And no Martin, it wasnt pinging before...Although the sticking WOT switch while I was staging Saturday night with the nitrous SPRAYING while stopped propably screwed everything up.

Look at what I found.

Somehow the piston melted/exploded and slingshot some pieces in the sparkplug I assume. I also have to change 2 valves on the AFR. They are bent and dont close ok anymore. Other than that, the heads look fine. Now I have to find out how everything looks In the engine itself.

Looks like you will need to pull the engine out .

Do you have a place to work on your car ?

I mean a place inside or you have to do it in the driveway....

The only place I have is the driveway..But we've pulled the engine before on there and it took like 5minutes so this is not a big deal.

Although, now I need to remove:

* Nitrous system and all electrical components (msd window switch, etc)
* Shiftlight
* Headers/H-pipe
* Pro 5.0 shifter
* 31spline axles and carrier
* Aluminium driveshaft
* Front Lakewood struts
* Walbro 255lph fuel pump
* EEC Tuner
* Etc.

There's gonna be much more for sale soon, including H/C/I, Holley 75mmTB, ProM80mm, 24pds injectors, etc.

Started to take some stuff apart today. Did the front struts, the WHOLE nitrous kit w/wiring, longtube headers, H-Pipe, lifters, EEC Tuner, Msd window switch, Raptor shiftlight

Tomorrow, I want to swap back to the SN95 tB and cruise cable instead of the fox that means 2 cables, wanna swap the driveshaft, shifter, the 6 bolts that attach the engine to the bellhouding, pulleys, motor mounts and the wiring harness still attached near the bottom of the engine. Its going good so far...

After that I'll have to do the fuel pump, axles and carrier again..

So when the car will be finished and for sale again, the only mods will be Mac pulleys, Flowmasters catback, King Cobra clutch, UPR triple hook clutch quadrant and firewall adjuster, 3:90 gears, subframe connectors, X2C control arms, HPM driveshaft loop, (2) gauges, clear headlights.

The axles wont fit you. The sn95 dont have the same lenght as the fox. As for the fuel pump, I'll let you know when I pull it out.

Judt did everything I had planned for today. Just need the cherry picker now.

What's left to remove is the custom cam in the engine, line-lock, axles/carrier, fuel pump. Thats it.
