stang newb

lol. im not made out of $s. it may eventually evolve to that, but im going to take this 1 slow. i had bad luck with my grand prix. probably $4k+ in the engine. it was pretty quick for a 6 cyl, but after 3k miles, a bearing took a dump. dont know which bearing yet. i hjave to pull the engine and see. i think either a cam bearing or main. not a big deal, but i dumped enough $s into that car

the stang also has headers on it. i noticed the tubes are tiny. cant be much more tha 1". they look cheap, maybe pacesetters. are headers for a 302 interchangeable with a 351?
 
another question. how do i tell if the tranny is a c4 or not? i know ford usually has a #and letter designation on the pan. what should i look for? in case its not obvious and doesnt say c4
