I found a very simple solution to trunk shock conversion. I just mounted them more inboard. The way I had them the first time, there just wasn't quite enough room for where the shocks were. I mounted them more inboard and they don't look so intrusive. What do you think? Here are some pics:

They definitively look better than the previous attempt, great work!

How did you get to mount them? did you just drill a couple of holes and secure them with nuts?

I'm kinda scared that I wouldn't be able to get them back on if I needed them. I'll do it either monday or tuesday. I have a ton of work to do on the 90 on mon so probably tues.

Does the trunk open on its own when you unlock it?
